Clonex Clone Solution Directions for Use:

Drench: Mix 2 tsp per quart. Adjust pH to appropriate level (5.5 to 6.5). Soak medium. Allow for adequate drainage to avoid water logging. Continue with above dilution rate throughout the entire propagating cycle. Moisten medium at least every second day.

Foliar Spray: Mix 1 tsp per quart. Spray over young clones every second day. Use fresh solution only.

Ingredients: Calcium nitrate, potassium nitrate, phosphoric acid, potassium sulfate and ammonium nitrate.

What dose rate should I use?

Start by diluting it at 5ml per liter of water. The strength should be increased to a maximum dilution rate of 10ml per liter as the cutting becomes more established.

At its simplest it can be diluted in a watering can and the cuttings watered from that. It can also be used in flood and drain systems or with sprinklers and misters. Enough diluted it should be used so as to get a small amount of run through the cutting’s container.

Any precautions?

It isn’t dangerous, however good practice indicates care should be taken with all chemicals.
