Top Hat Grommet 1/4″, 3/8″ or 3/8″ – 1/4″ for AutoPot Watering Systems.

• Choose 3/8″ for AQUAvalve 5 and 3/8″ pipe and fittings
• Choose 1/4″ or 3/8″ – 1/4″ for older, pre-October 2020 AQUAvalves (AQUAvalve 4 Black and AQUAvalve 3 Blue) with 1/2″ pipe and fittings

Top Hat Grommets provide a water tight connection using 3/8″ or 1/4″ pipe with the 12.4 gal plastic reservoirs.

The Top Hat Grommet is positioned at the bottom of the reservoir. All AutoPot 12.4 gal plastic reservoirs are now supplied drilled and with 3/8″ Top Hat Grommets. You can retrofit your old 12.4 gal plastic reservoir to make it compatible with the AQUAvalve 5 and 3/8″ fittings using a step drill bit. If you don’t want to DIY it, you can purchase a new 12.4 gal plastic tank compatible with 3/8″ fittings.
